Ontopampa: uma ontologia de suporte à oferta de disciplinas complementares de graduação

Abstract

Due to the wide diversity of áreas encompassed by Computer Science, there are several paths that can be followed by graduate students of the Computer Science course. The higher education institutions provide a flexible parto f the curriculum, allowing students to target their resume to their of interest. The wide diversity of these areas of interest introduces a problem in the choice and offer or Undergraduate Complementary Disciplines (DCG). In this work, it was developed an ontological model capable of helping the course coordinator in the planning process DCG offer, considering the interest areas of students. The ontology was build using the Ontology Development 101 method, ans its domain was divided into two perspectives: one is responsible for representing the course curriculum, and the other to establish a student profile. By the correlation between these perspectives, it was possible to represent the necessary knowledge to answer queries about the process off DCG offering, and the counseling of DCD for students and teacher.
