Relatório do estágio curricular supervisionado em medicina veterinária – área: pesquisa em nutrição suinícola industrial

Abstract

This report describes the activities developed and / or monitored during the Supervised Curricular Internship in Veterinary Medicine. This was carried out in the area of Research in Industrial Pig Nutrition, covering activities such as: development of experiments; housing lots of animals following the guidelines of the experimental designs; nutritional monitoring of pigs, turkeys and chickens; collect data related to zootechnical indexes; statistical analysis of the data obtained. At the same sector, an experiment with nucleotides in piglet nutrition in day care phase, being detailed and discussed in this report. In addition, it was possible to the routine of several sectors of a food industry, such as: feed factory, laboratories physical, chemical and microbiological analysis. As an internship field, Seara was chosen Alimentos Ltda, in the city of Montenegro-RS, in the Research and Development sector of Department of Animal Nutrition, under the supervision of Veterinarian Anelcir Scher. The internship took place between July 16 and November 16, 2018, making a total of total of 504 hours.
